Opinion on a chrome stick-on hood bug shield - f150xlt

Purchased a 2013 f150 xlt with a chrome package, any thoughts or experiences with a chrome stick on hood bug shield?

No experience, just negative thoughts. Whats the color of your truck?

Horrible, it looks like a JC Whitney catalog took a dump on your hood.

That depends... are you trying to match your chrome stick-on gas cap, chrome window vents, chrome windshield eyebrow, chrome tailights, chrome tailgate handle, chrome window pillars, and your chrome steering wheel?
If the answer is "yes, I also have a chrome belt buckle", then by all means go for it and add on the chrome bug deflector.

If the answer is "no, what are you talking about" then its probably better not to start down that dangerous path of putting chrome on every inch of your truck.

I have a 2013 F150 King Ranch Blue Jeans Blue. I installed the chrome Aeroskin and it really set off the front end and the looks along with the chrome package. It looks better with darker colors.

Thanks to all for your input. I wound up installing one on my white truck, so a couple years down the road I can share with you how it turned out. Thanks again.

There is still more green to go around.

Forget chrome vs clear vs black, these things are the equivalent of putting wrap on your couch . . . pointless
