Can Someone Get Me an A-Plan Pin

Hello All,

I'm buying a 2013 FX4 in about 4 days. Truck is being shipped now.

If I have an A-Plan pin it will save me another $2k.

I willing to pay to get the pin.

If you can help out and want to make a few bucks let me know.

I was told by the dealer that I could be listed as a half brother.

Thanks

Tom

You might want to rethink this.

Quote:
What sometimes happens...
A unscrupulous individual that receives Ford privileged pricing -LIES- about their relationship to the buyer. (i.e. cousin or friend becomes "brother-in-law")
So said person can receive the A/Z plan instead of the X-plan discount.

What happens when Ford CATCHES them...
Privileges are revoked permanently from sponsor, dealer is charged back plan rebates, dealer and Ford then sue customer and sponsor for fraud, and sponsor and customer are blacklisted from Ford. (There are several documents to sign during delivery to validate the programs and pricing and they do check!)

Basically, if you're not related, and an employee is kind enough to give you a pin number, it will be X-plan unless you are directly related. Don't chance beating the system.

I can't even get an a-plan pin as the son of a brother directly related to a retired FMC employee.. I can live with x-plan or just negotiate below it very easily.

Trust me, they are checking VERY closely, they verified my relation to the employer with x-plan and verified the heck out of my dad's relation to his brother the last time he used a-plan. I'm glad they check so those of us who don't abuse the system still have access to these benefits.

Quit trying to cheat the system. All that does is makes all of us pay more for our vehicles.

Join the Mustang Club of America and get a X plan pin

You can also buy 100 shares of Ford common stock, and after 6 months you are eligible for one X-plan pin a year.

I thought X plan was the way to go, then my dealer offered my truck for about 900 less.

It's easy to beat X-plan at the end of the model year on leftover vehicles. Where it really pays is when you are factory ordering a vehicle.

X-plan is invoice minus 0.4% plus a $275 admin fee, dealer doc fee limited to no more than $100 or max per state law, whichever is less - minus all applicable rebates and incentives.

Right now, dealers who have 50+ 2013's in stock are digging into their holdback to try to move them.

Join the Mustang Club of America. $50 a year, 2 PIN #s a year. Just have to wait 2 months for your card to come in the mail.

I know the topic starter doesn't have 2 months to wait, but this is the best way to get the X-plan that I know of. If you know you are going to be buying a new vehicle in the near future, $50 is 'cheap insurance' to save thousands on a new vehicle!

And paying $40/year in dividends!

I bought 3000 shares at an average of $3.50/share 5 years ago. I wish I would have had more $$$ to invest...
