2010 f150 remote start honks 6 times
My 2010 F150 will not start but honks 6 times and led flashes twice. It's a Ford dealer installed Gen 2 unit. I've read previous threads on this problem and it specifies that it's in valet mode? I tried doing what the instructions said to do to reset the issue which is to turn key on press brake then hit the remote start button 3 times. Unfortunately this does not work. I have also read that there is a reset button which I have found but do not know the sequence of events for this button any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 2010 didn't have any factory installed RS options on the order sheet. I looked when I ordered it. I knew (assumed) that he meant a fomoco RS.
OP still didn't answer the "which one" question. There are 3 fomoco RS options.
6 button, with alarm.
Single button, basic one way.
Bi Directional 2 button.

from the 6-button owner's manual:
To engage the service/valet mode, turn the ignition key to the ON (RUN) position
and press the 2 button on the PowerCode remote control transmitter. The system
will begin flashing the dash mounted status indicator in a double-flash pattern
indicating that the system is in Service mode.
To return the system to its normal operating mode, turn the ignition key to
the ON (RUN) position and press the 2 button on the PowerCode remote control
transmitter again. The status indicator will shut off, indicating that the system is in
now in its normal operating mode.
