How many miles on EB?

Wow. I get better millage than that with my 5.4L. I'll take the 6.2L because what is a few mpg's anyway? I'll take the durability and added horsepower. I hope they don't phase out the 6.2L for the 2015+ models, because I'm going to hold onto my truck for awhile.

V6's have their place in the truck world for Mid-size trucks & base model F-150s! The day when I walk into a Ford store & cannot buy a V8 in a full size truck is the day I walk across the street & buy a 5.7 or 6.4 HEMI or a 6.2from the competition! I do not buy a full size truck because I'm concerned about fuel economy. I buy a truck for what it can do for me when I need its capabilities for what it was was designed for.

Which of those doesn't fit what you need a truck to do? The EB V6 is a great all-around engine for the F150, and if you refuse to open your eyes and see that, it's your loss.

The ecoboost beats the 5.0 and 5.4 in all categories and comes close to the 6.2.

Its about having a choice. The last time I checked that is what this country is all about. I want a normal aspirated V8 that makes great power & lasts a very long long time & yes sounds great! I'll admit I came from a generation that grew up on V8s. I was driving a Big Block Chevelle 396 in High School. If Ford ceases to offer a V8 in its 1/2 ton lineup. I walk away to who does. That's the beauty of this country!
