Doors rattelling

I have a 2013 super crew and both doors rattelling below the door locks.I can get the rattles to stop if I push on the door with my elbow. When I push on the door it makes a snapping noise then is quiet for a couple miles at best. This is crazy truck is new. This shouldn't be happening widen you pay $56,000 for a truck. Is this a common thing with these fords?

Not on mine and it only cost $38k out the door...

But, it should still be under warranty, and if you can duplicate it on demand, show the dealer and they should fix it..

Good luck!

Only time i have seen ford front doors rattle in when they are slammed constantly.. That why i hate GM owner's to ride with me, cause when the shut the door they slam it so hard it sounds like the glass is about to shatter.

Like Mitch said take it to the dealer..

Let me lend a hand. PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info. I'll see how I can help.

$56,000? You mean that is what the window sticker said . . . right? I hope it isn't an STX

There is a $62,000 F150 a few minutes down the road in a neighboring town. Of course, it has aftermarket paint and lift kit with 35" tires.

Take your truck to your local Ford dealer, there is an anti-rattle kit that can be installed. I had one installed on my drivers front door, but the rattle persisted until I installed aftermarket speakers and Dynamat.

My Chevrolet driving in-laws do the same thing. It almost started an argument between me and my wife. It seems they never slam their own vehicle doors, and that irritates me.

I've had/have more door and window rattles than I care to tell about. My truck has 35k on it. Been having problems since about 5k miles. I drive a lot on rough roads at my ranch and leases. I also have a 2" level. Ford, and the ford service rep here on the forum, tried to help but it's been decided that since my level is not factory that it is my fault I have rattles. Haha. Freakin joke

I'm glad to hear that you're rattle-free, yammie! Give me a shout if you need any help in the future.
