20" vs 18" FX4 rims

Hey all, i'm looking for a set of rims and winter tires to use next year. Just want to hear some peoples input. Here is what I found:

18" FX4 rims w/ tire pressure monitors, 4 for $800 (CAD)
or
20" FX4 rims (grey, not black) with a set of brand new cooper discoverer M+S winter tires on them for ($1600 CAD)

I just wonder if there is a benefit to using 18" wheels for winter, or would 20" be alright. These tires and wheels are brand new, never used, dealer take offs. I'm leaning towards the 20" ones because I think they look a bit better and they already have tires (I've had coopers on my last truck so they should work good). Also, one more question. Will I need new lug nuts or will chrome lugs from 20" chrome rims work?

I'd grab those 20s, especially when they have winter tires on them already.

I'd buy aftermarket rims before I paid $800 for the 18's. Normally I'd prefer 18's over 20's but the FX 18's just don't appeal to me. That's why I ordered my truck with the 20's.

Yeah, I definitely don't like the 18's as much as the 20's. As for aftermarket, I've considered it, but I actually like the stock 20's quite a bit. I've decided to buy the ones I've shown above, i'm picking them up tonight.

My gray 20's have the chrome lug nuts. I don't think you would notice any performance difference. The 20's look easier to clean than the 18's. Are you getting a new truck?
