So I'm thinking of ordering these and setting them at the 1.5" leveling setting and removing my auto spring spacer. But I have kind of a dumb question: why don't the front ones have the plate for the coilspring? Do these install with the existing factory mounting plate and coilspring? Also, is it easy to determine what setting will give me the same 1.5" level as my auto spring kit?

Pawpaw, does yours sit level with your stock 4x4 rear blocks?

Johnboy, these install using existing hardware on the truck. Bilstein offers coilovers but I wasn't interested in those. I plan on doing coilovers in the future but this setup will suffice for now. As far as the different settings are concerned, there are four positions: stock height, .75", 1.5, and 2.25". This is per the install guide from the shocks. So for your desired setting of 1.5", you'd simply use the thrid notch. Hope this helps.

What I am not understanding is how i went from 32.07 inch tires to 34.26 inch tires with a difference of 2.19" and a 2.25" level up front but only netting 3.5" in total? Maybe I measured wrong?

You only gain 1" of height from a 2" taller tire. 1" on bottom for height 1" on top into wheel well

I don't understand that explanation, lol. If my tire is 2" bigger that means the circumference is 2" larger which should net me the full 2" right?

Im thinking i lost some height due to settling or weight...but not 100% sure. I double checked my Bilstein shock settings and they're in the correct position. Either way im happy with the appearance.

Yep haha
Once you realize it, it's going to smack you right in the head, and you're gonna be like "how could I have been so dumb" haha. Don't worry I've done the same thing before.

It's called the 'Squish' factor. Typically 3-5%. It's common knowledge - and is a part of setting the correct tire size settings when using a programmer.

On the flip-side, tires grow in diameter as speed increases.

Yes on the ground they would be 2" taller. but mounted on the hub you get 1" taller on top (fills wheel well) and 1" closer to the ground (lifts truck up)
Weight has nothing to do with it.
