I got it all done. I must say I really like this truck the way I have it now and today was a very educational day. This is what I learned today. Wider wheels (+15 offset) compared to factory will NOT fit through an automatic car wash. I will get more into that rant in just a few minutes.

Ok, shims and shackles went on without a hitch. no vibrations yet but will pay attention to it for the next few days. Love the new stance and as much as I want to lower it so bad, I cannot. I like the way it rides now and I do plan on doing some light hauling in the future. So, how she sits is how she will sit from now on. I wish I could go down about another 2/2 and not lose ride quality.

The exhaust is phenomenal. I love love love Magnaflow. I dumped it over the rear axle so I have nothing showing and it sounds absolutely climactic when you get on it on from a roll.

The wheels. Let me tell you about the wheels. I ordered KMC Slides. 4 x 22x9.5 +15 offset (Yes, I realize my mistake now. One small puddle and I have crap all over my truck. Not sure how I am going to address that yet but something will come up. 1 of the rims they sent me is a +38 offset I know this because its on the back and it does not stick out as far as the other rear wheel. The other 3 stick out about an inch further and while I am ok with that, I want them all uniform. I will be contacting the company I got them from tomorrow to see how they will handle it. I am hopeful for a new rim and reimbursement for mounting, balancing and shipping them the other rim back.

Now, the car wash. It won't fit with these wheels. You want to know how I know? Go ahead, ask me. Thank you, I am glad you asked! It won't fit because it's too damn wide! I got two gouges on the right side as my proof!

I went through it yesterday as I have for many years to get the salt and sand off and it did a great job. Touchless and always comes clean. These wide tires get crap all over the paint so I went back through for a rinse before I got pics. For my trouble I got a good size smear/gouge on both passenger side rims on the edge. Neither of these are the 1 rim that has to go back. Not sure how I am going to deal with these two wheels yet. I might sand them smooth and touch up using black paint. Shouldn't be too hard but it burns my biscuits to have made such a stupid mistake. One that I should have foreseen.

Anyway, here she sits. My TPMS light has not come on or gone off so I guess its played nice with the tires. I am ecstatic about that atleast.

Getting all of them as +15 would minimize the gunk spraying off of them if they are tucked under more

Yeah and I found pics of the +38 but not the +15's and took a chance on the +15's because I wanted them out a little further. I am going to get some low profile mud flaps or something. Not sure yet. Hind sight is always 20/20. If I win the lottery I can have my vision corrected.

I thought about that. I wasn't sure how far they stuck out though. Or how they attached. I will take a closer look at them today.

I got my Offsets mixed up. I fixed them in the posts above. I called the company and they have agreed to my terms of the new wheel and reimbursing me for the shipping and such.

I have decided to keep the +38 wheel and replace the other 3 to match. This way I don't have to worry with mud flaps or flares. I will be replacing them 1 at a time though. Its not hurting anything to run different offsets until I get them all in is it?

I am going to call them back today and let them know my intentions. Maybe they will hook me up on 3 more rims. I can put these 3 on fleabay. Might keep one as a full size spare. I wonder if it will fit under the truck?

When I went to get my truck it was a toss up between Blue Flame and Tuxedo Black. So today I went back and got the Blue Flame too.

lol. Just kidding. My best friend who went with me to get my truck had a 2013 Silverado and he was so impressed with the F150 he went and got one. He brought it over today and we worked on it a bit. He got great ideas while we talked and of course I referred him here.

Headlights are sold. I will be cleaning up the tails, wheels, and some parts I have left over from my 08 to put up for sale soon.
