Thank you, Patrick. It was nice to meet you as well. I look forward to seeing your retrofit. Do you plan to do a step by step? I have not been able to find one for the 09-14 but would be interested in eventually making my own.

Yep, my wheel offset is way to positive. This is just from rain on the highway. No mud.

Nice looking truck. Does anyone know if the 2014 grills fit the 2010's? 09-14 is the same front end right?

I remember hearing there is a year break I want to say it's 09-11 and 12-14 but I could be wrong.

I think the grill she'll has to change too if you're going between the year changes

I finally sold my factory wheels and other items I needed to sell. No now onto my next step. I am ordering my 3 replacement wheels with the correct offset to bring the 3 wheels in an inch or so and that should finish this stage. Then I am going to sell the 3 on the truck now that have the wrong offset.

I also ordered the door handles, mirror caps, mirror inserts, and tailgate handle from Tasca to PTM them. I am going to PTM the new parts, install them and then use the parts I take off of mine to help a friend PTM his Flame Blue parts, then sell the parts we take off his to recover my expenses. I did it this way so I would not be rushed to get them done since I rely on my truck and cannot afford to have any down time. I actually thought of starting a PTM service and selling the parts to others to save them the pain of doing it themselves. Not sure if it would be worth it though.

I am planning to PTM the grill and tailgate emblems, fender and tailgate badges, mirror caps, door handles, and tailgate handle. I am also looking to have some black chrome and gloss black overlays made if anyone know a place that makes them. I also need a piece of black chrome vinyl for some custom work I have planned.

Does anyone know if this part can be painted? it says "applique" but it feels metal on my truck. Thought about ordering all 4 and PTM'ing them. Its #3 in the exploded view..

I finally got to order my last wheel. It should be here next week and then off to Discount Tire to get them installed and rotated. It took awhile to replace them because I used a cell phone reward program to get 900 dollars in Amazon gift certificates to replace them at no cost to me. Plus I found a buyer for the 3 wheels with the wrong offset so it is almost done.

They are aluminum I believe. 2004 trucks came with them in gloss black. Only year they were offered like that.

Lots of 04-08 guys swapped to glossy 04 style

Some updates. These wheels are giving me heartburn lol.

I bought this truck brand new. I bought 4 wheels all with the same offset (+15). I had them mounted and looking at the pics I posted earlier it appears that one of them on the back is the wrong size (offset). I thought this and instead of taking it off to check, I assumed it was a single (+38) offset wheel because it looks like every other +38 offset pic of these wheels I have seen. I was wrong.

I bought 3 of the +38’s and sent it to discount today to have them put on in hopes of matching all 4 together. They called me and the wheels on the truck are all (+15). My damn bed is on crooked. Yes, it’s off by that much.

I still wanted the +38’s so I had them go ahead and mount the 3 but leave the driver side (what I thought was a +38) on the truck until I can get another wheel. Thankfully it’s on the rear. Now I have to fix the bed. I can only assume they moved it when they sprayed in the bed liner. It came with the liner so I don’t really know. Funny thing is the distance between the bed and cab looks correct.

You're about to open a huge can of worms you don't want to deal with.

Many many 09+ guys have complained about alignment issues from the factory.

Most noticeable with drop and aftermarket wheels.

Ok, I got it home and got the center caps on. Believe it or not it looks decent with the one +15 wheel on the back drivers side. I can't leave it like that because of rotating but until I get my 4th wheel it will be okay. About 2 weeks.

The bed is not out of alignment. It squares up to the bumper and the cab down to 1/16". It's so close to perfect it's not funny. The problem is the axle needs to be moved towards the drivers side about an inch. I don't know if it came like that or if I did it putting the shackles on.

Is this normal from the factory or only after shackles?
