My truck will not crank or start..the dash,wipers and radio are working. I called a tow truck and he jumped my battery and it started. Took it to autozone to check the battery, they said no dead cells and it was good battery. Went home the next day the truck didn't start, Called a tow truck and he hoisted it into his bed. Arrived at the mechanic 10 minutes later it started! Mechanic still has the truck and doesn't see anything wrong with it but a little corrosion by solenoid. I told him to keep the truck overnight and hope it doesn't start tomorrow. Any ideas? I dont want to start replacing things and knowing for sure what it is.

 

Did you try wiggling the shifter - also putting it in Neutral and wiggling it up and down? You might have a MLPS (neutral safety switch) that's loose or out of adjustment.
