dixie_boysles' 2014 Build Thread

I wanted to start my build thread to my bone stock 2014 F150. Bought the truck in June 2016 to accommodate a growing family (three kiddos). So this build will be pretty slow and low key as I do have so many kids haha.

Specs:

2014 F150 SuperCrew 4x4
5.0 V8
Oxford White

Factory Options:
  • 3.55 Gears with E-Locker
  • 4.2" screen entertainment system with SYNC
  • Tow Package
  • Chrome Appearance Package

Mods thus far:
  • Factory Slush Mats
  • 275/65/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W Tires (Awaiting shipping as of this post)
  • Pro-Clip phone mount

Day I bought her:

Since I couldnt afford the FX4 package I wanted that comes with the full length console, my XLT has the shorty console which is fine, but it leaves no place to put my phone. I was tired of the phone not fitting in the cup holders or falling in the floor so I pulled the trigger on a ProClip mount and holder. $69 shipped I believe:

After a few months of driving, the stock Wranglers are shot. After looking and looking, I seen that Falken came out with a new aggressive well mannered A/T. I was never impressed with their WildPeak AT/1 or At/2s as far as looks go. But they came out with a Wildpeak AT3/W back in February that looks amazing and had outstanding reviews.

(not my image, mine were being shipped as I type this).

I ordered in a 275/70/18 which jumps up to a 33" tire instead of the factory 275/65/18 (32"). BUT I ordered mine though SimpleTire.com and they emailed me and said they were out of stock on the 33s after I ordered...so I just went back to factory size and simpletire had the best prices....Free shipping too. Will update once I get them in and mounted.
