Brake warning light on, ABS locks up brake pedal
Hello, first post here - hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I drive a 2011 f150 ecoboost
About 3 months ago I had to replace my driver's side hub and abs sensor. Everything was working great before this, just had a stud break off the hub at the tire shop. When I replaced the sensor, I couldn't get the old sensor disconnected under the hood, and it was getting dark. I ended up pretty forcibly disconnecting it, and plugging in the new one. My ABS light is off, but my brake warning indicator will come on now. First thing in the morning when I back out of the driveway, the ABS engages and I cannot stop unless I really press hard on the pedal. When driving, 1 out of 10 stops it will feel like the ABS is engaged. Do you think I need a new connector for the ABS sensor to plug into? I really want this cleared up by winter and I dont want to have to take it to the dealership.
Thank you
