Yes, two electric fans.

Maybe I do but I've never noticed the AC cutting off and the temperature certainly doesn't rise when I accelerate. Maybe I'm not driving it hard enough. I keep a small thermometer in the AC vent a lot of the time so I routinely watch the cab and the AC outlet air temperatures. It goes up when idling and drops when I'm moving and I can see the outlet temperature drop further after the truck runs for a bit and the ambient air in the cab cools off. After everything in the cab cools off (in about 20 to 30 minutes) it will eventually get down to about 43 degrees and sometimes below 40. With the cab cooled off the outlet air is about 43 degrees when driving but goes up to about 48 at idle but then starts dropping again as soon as I start moving again. That's with our typical mid 90s degree outside air temp.

Again, it's all within the control of the PCM. If you haven't noticed it, it's probably because you've never pushed the envelope that would cause clutch operation to be inhibited.

The A/C is disengaged at WOT - it's SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and has been for as long as the engines have been electonically controlled.

Yeah, we got that. In fact, twice already. But that doesn't help the OP with his problem.
