I have a Rawson Koenig box I installed in 2003, it is on its 3rd truck and has logged over 409,000 miles so far. I opted for the heavy duty box so it would last. The diamond plate doesn't show scratches and scuffs like a flat smooth surface would over this much time. I expect many more years and several trucks before it might need some tuning up of the internal steel hardware/latch mechanism.
This may be a taller box than you are interested in, but it serves my purposes with a lot of internal storage and the bottom of the box is high enough that when I load my sled in, the skis go under the box. I also keep a plastic milk crate tethered to a front tie down that holds chock blocks and tow chains.
Just another option.
