I had the truck REALLY loaded down a couple weekends ago, probably exceeded payload capacity by a bit, had the bed completely full and 3 people and luggage in the cab, and tow-haul helped quite a bit in-town, I turned it off once at-highway speed, as it stayed in 6 the entire time I was on the interstate.
