Thinking about buying white truck. How bad is the glare off the hood?

I really want to order a white f150. How bad is the light intensity off the hood of a white truck, while you're driving, compared to other colors? Is there anyone here with a white truck that it bothers? Thanks!

I drove my old white 97 for 9 years. Never noticed the glare off the hood as an issue, but I also always wear polarized sunglasses when it's bright outside.

Doesn't bother me at all. The angle and position of the hood keep it from reflecting.

It depends on how often you wash your truck

My work truck is white (Dodge) and my F150 is Kodiak Brown (black ) I never noticed a difference in glare between the two colors.

This is such an odd question......I have a white platinum '15. I have no glare off of my hood.

The real answer is that it depends on which way your driving in the early morning and in the late afternoon when the sun is low in the sky. My first car was medium blue Plymouth with a large flat hood and I had to drive east early in the morning just after sunrise and the sun was BLINDING. Later someone that was older and wiser than I told me that you should never live WEST of where you work. In those days some of the Plymouths came with a large flat black decal that covered most of the hood and I seriously thought of paining my hood like that but I ended up moving instead.

My old 2000 F150 XLT I had for 6 years was white and never had any problems with glare.
