2015 Platinum 4x4 ordered: Build sheet included

New member here. Just ordered a 2015 Ford F150 SCrew Platinum 701A, Magnetic exterior, Black interior, FX4, 4x4, 3.5 ecoboost, 6.5', max tow, 3.55 e-locker, active park assist, ext range tank, spray-in liner, rubber mats.

Got a great deal, $500 under invoice plus any applicable rebates (if any) at time of delivery. Was ordered as dealer stock so hopefully it gets here before the end of the year.

The order sheet is below. The order number and priority codes were updated after it was printed. Dealer also agreed to sell the warranty and maintenance plan at $100 over cost if I want to get it when the truck arrives.

Awesome! I find it comical that you can get the color 'Magnetic' on an aluminum truck. I love that color, though!

I did not get the twin moonroof option, box steps, bed extender, drop in bedliner (got the spray in), loading ramps, tonneau cover and wheel well liners. Some of those were marked as "late availability" and I didn't want to wait.

I'm sure you will be very happy.

Don't let any of the debbie downers get to you (sorry had to).

I don't blame you for not wanting to wait. It's taking a lot of discipline for me not to walk into my nearest Ford dealership

Your money, your truck, enjoy!

Thumbs up

Awesome! Almost exactly the same options as I will get if I decide to buy in March. I'd drop the tow thing and the fx4, and add the bed extender & perhaps box side steps. So 2 for 2. I'd hit up the brunello interior, but still undecided on exterior. White Plat is still my "leaning towards" choice, but I've always loved burgundy, and that magnetic color has me intrigued & would like to see more pics in different shades of sunlight and/or in person.

But that's a sweet ride, thanks for posting the order & pricing, it really helps me to narrow down whether I want to buy soon, or hold off until my mortgage is paid off in 3.5 years. Tempting... shiny new toys are always oh so tempting...

Shiny new toys are very tempting. I'm a little concerned about the color too because I haven't seen it. I have always bought black vehicles, but thought I'd try something new. Worst case is I don't like it when it comes in and the dealer sells it to someone else.

I tow a cargo trailer for our business occasionally so tow package was a must. They have a tow package and max tow package. Figured max tow had to be better so I got it. FX4 wasn't necessary, but sounded interesting. It was a little pricey, but what the heck, why not, so I got it.

I have a sun roof in my Yukon now that I haven't opened once so I didn't think $1300 for one in the new truck would be worth it so it got left off.

Agreed. I had the moonroof in my '09 Platinum, and I never once used it or cared about it. I have one in my current Fusion Hybrid as well, and same thing - never use it, don't care a lick about it. Shade open, shade closed, doesn't even make any difference to amount of light in interior. Most useless option ever in my humble opinion. I'm really glad you don't have to get it with the Plat like I did back in 2009. Not for me.

What kills me is the price progression. A 2013 Plat was 53k sticker fully loaded, apparently 2014 was a little more, and 2015 is 60k. Now granted this has the luxury (additional) package with the lane assist, but they definitely seem like they want to reduce the number of people buying a platinum.

It's not that bad. The 2013 is around $54-$55k on the build and price. The 2014 is around $56+ This 2015 is $60k but includes an $895 add fee, and the full FX4 package, tech package, lane assist, etc. Take out the ad fee and 2% for inflation and it's only about $2k more, but you're getting $4k worth of extra stuff + a better design.
