Got a new item for the interior!

Got my other package I was hinting about in the mail today. I swapped out my boring black FX4 lid for the black 'leather' lid. This thing feels great! So much softer than the other one. I can't wait to go drive with it! Oh and <I broke the rules by placing a classified ad within my text>!

They are around $70 from the dealer, and can be found on ebay at times. Part number was 5L3Z-1506024-AAC but that may be an old number.

I emailed that guy a while back and he seems like a good seller. You could get that, swap your FX4 lid to it, and resell it!

Thats pretty cool Matt. Seems like your weekly new mod is always something Im wondering about. $70 clams from the dealer huh? I could live with that because the stock lid is not comfy hence why I have a little folded black towel on mine. Not for long now dude. Bring on the pleather baby
Later homeboy.

I'm going for a little drive today to go ride some trails so I'll get a chance to see how much better this thing feels. Where in NC are you at again?? We need to have an NC meet sometime.....

Nah, I like fabric much better. I had the option of leather when I got my truck because we did a locator of everything I wanted and I did not want leather. I am a fan of fabric and always have been. Feels better, it's always the right temperature, and the quality of the leather in fords seems to not hold up too well and cracks after a while.
