Finally got HIDs (Installed + Adjustment PICS)
Probably should have been studying for an exam coming up Monday, but decided to install these instead. Still need to re-aim them (tomorrow) but they are awesome! Like everyone else I can't believe I didn't switch sooner. Did a quick drive around to test them out and I didn't get flashed once. Considering I haven't re-aimed them yet I take that as a good sign. Hopefully they won't need much adjusting, but I'll see tomorrow.
Got the DDM kits. 5000K 55w H13 Hi/Lo for the heads and 5000K 35w H10 for the fogs. Fogs look a touch bluer than the heads but it's not that noticeable. Install was straightforward and very simple. Only thing I had a problem with was the hi/lo connector. They only provide one to work for both headlights, so if there is a problem there both will go out. I'd like to see them have it set up where there is one for each headlight for safety reasons. Other than that it's a very good kit. Attached the ballasts with some industrial-strength velcro and double secured them with zip-ties.
I'll get some better pics + a few output shots tomorrow.
*think of the environment. save bandwith. (pics are in album)
