SLP Loudmouths

Id like to know yalls opinions on this. How much louder would my truck be if i went from true dual 10 series flows to true dual SLP Loudmouth 1's?
Im not for certain doing anything to my exhaust but Im considering this bc I love how they sound on Mustangs. Yes I know my truck wont sound like one.
Opinions are really appreciated.

if you run an h-pipe it will help a lil' bit, unless of course you're talking about stang that's had an x-pipe swapped in then run an x-pipe

the SLP's are way too loud for my taste

yea i know theyre very loud, thats why Im considering them bc i love it. but depending on how MUCH louder yall think theyl be, I just might do it. my truck is considerably loud right now and I love how it sounds, i just want more and messing with the cats isnt an option.

boss1984 had 'em and when he raced built5.4 you couldn't hear anything in builts truck, so if you're on in it alot you're gonna set off car alarms for a few blocks definantly no dumps, you'd want it piped out the sides behind the rear wheels or duals out the back

When I was having my exhaust built, some kid with a newer GTO was about to get a set of Loudmouths put on. It looked like an empty cat, so it's only going to be one step down from straights. It will sound awesome, but may test your tolerances. Glad to hear that you are planning to get away from Flows.

Having had 40 series, 10 series, and tried on some dynamax bullets I can say confidently they all suck. Sound wise they are weak compared to the slp's. My system has such a distinct sound that from blocks away folks can tell its me without a doubt. On a cold startup I can rattle the windows in my house, and if your standing next to it your voice will shake if you try to talk and your chest is vibrating away. Setting off car alarms is a joke now, Its annoying, I have to drive as much around residentials and/or think about how to get where I'm going to limit my impact. Nothing compares to SLP LM1's, hands down. I get compliment after compliment on the uniqness of the sound, and on the other side I get complaint after complaint from people tired of hearing it. When I pass a car on the highway at 75mph and 2500 rpm I have seen people in a car or truck next to me cover their ears or slow way down. SLP's with an H-pipe, no. SLP's with an X-pipe, hi flow cats, and SLP 5" tips...hell yea..! It will just cost a pretty penny! If I ever get my hands on some headers I'm almost confident I could break windows on a cold start up. I can't wait to do my exact same exhaust on the 6.2L Boss when it comes out

the only reason i might change from flows is bc i want more volume even tho its loud now. I absolutely love my 10 series sound/tone and id never rid them if i could cut out some cats and put headers in.

It would be cheaper to just swap out your cats for 2 hi-flows instead of buying the SLP's if all you want is more sound.
