hats off to airaid

so im on my first tank of gas since i installed my poweraid TB spacer. first off i noticed the whistling when the motor is under a load accelerating but then goes away when cruising. no big deal, kinda sounds like a turbo or something. throttle response has vastly improved too. it didnt show any noticable power though. BUT... i have an '06 4.6 285/70r17 BFG AT on stock rims, 2" leveling kit up front, glass pack single in dual out, k&n replacement filter. last time i checked was getting average of 10.7 mpgs. SUCKS!!!!!!! i was pretty upset with it! NOW i have gone 314 miles including driving on the Orgen Inlet beach which is pretty soft for a couple miles and still have right at a quarter of tank left. best i can figure i should get at least 400 miles, maybe more. so heres the math

10.7 mpgs before
going to be around 14.8 after tb spacer
4.1 mpg better
4.1 x 27 gallon tank =110.7 more miles out of a tank.
110.7 / 10.7 = 10.3 gallons saved each tank at say 3.00 a gallon
10.3 gallons x $3= 30 bucks saved every tank.

so theres the math in three tanks it will have paid for itself and put cash in my pocket! thanks airaid!

^^^
I think you're the only person to notice an improvement with a TBS. Mine does a great job sitting in its packaging in my garage taking up space.
