What Amperage & Size?

I've got a new RF Punch 75 25 ta Life Series & plan on getting a 150 also. Just wondering if anyone knows what the total amperage draw would be for both amps. 75 will be running 2 ohm stereo & the 150 will be running 4 ohm mono on 2 10" Elemental Designs. Already got 4 gauge wire from an install from a couple of years ago. Do I need to go larger for the power cable. I know I'm gonna go from the distribution block to the amps with 4 gauge. I was thinking about buying one of those 2 gauge power kits or should I just use the 4 gauge that I've already got? This will be going in a 06 F-150. I believe the alternator is a 120 amps on my truck. Thanks for the help.

Watts / Volts = Amps

300 watts / 12voltsDC = 25amps

If you have any plans on changing/upgrading/adding to the system run a bigger power wire. This will save you all the aggrevation of doing it again. Plus you may need more wire than what you had in the last install. Rockford has a good tech section on their amp current draws.

I looked on their site but they didn't have anything for the 25 ta Life Series amps. Talked to the techs & I ended going with 2 gauge for my main wire.
