Smile New to the forum.

This is my first post in this forum. I just got a 2006 Ford F-150 Supercab XLT in Dark Torreador Red. I have a couple of questions.

1. I already did a search, and came up with some info. But does anybody have any detailed pictures on how to remove the rear seat for amplifier mounting? Or can you post a link to the thread?

2. How did you guys get speaker wire into the front doors for after market speakers?

Thanks in advance

1. Do a search for 'rear set removal" in the galleries. There's one there.

2. I assume you have the big plastic wire harness/pin connectors at your door jams? If so, you will have to disconnect them and see what pins are not being utilized. Then carefully drill holes in those spots to run your wires.

Here's a link for the rear seat removal. For some reason my doors didn't have the pin connectors. I just ran the speaker wire through the rubber boots & pulled it through to the inside of the cab.

Wow, this is my first post too....reference the door speaker wire issues..just get the wire harness from Crutchfield. You unplug the factory speaker and plug in the new ones. Real simple. You dont have to buy the aftermarket speakers from them, but they can certainly help with wire harness', and the price is about 20 bucks a set if I remember right. i installed 4 Infinity Reference Series in my 06 Screw using the speaker harness from Crutchfield...EASY and what an awesome upgrade from stock. I also upgraded to two 10 inch Infinity Ref. series subs and a Crossfire VR402.

If you order your speakers from Crutchfield, the wire harness comes with them free for your specific vehicle. They've also got some great customer service if you do decide to order from them.
