Alpine PDX Amps

Thanks, some of the psd's have dual alternators and all have dual batts, with the equipment your looking at I would say no. As long as you stick with the basics correct power wire size, good ground all that stuff, you should be fine. If you do have any problem, or just want to be sure, I would look into a batcap by xstatic, over a reg cap by anyone else. I have always had great results with them.

Shoot me a PM and I will take some photos of my set up and see what you think.

The last 250 I did had an older t3001 and t4004 on the drivers side back wall and 3 punch 8's in a sealed box behind the pass rear seat. I was going to say this was a screw but now I can't remember for sure. I'm almost positive. It also had an eclipse 6600 and ba z6's front and back. I had cut in a set of rear screens in the seats and actually ran the rear amp channels on a switcher to multizone the rears. His kids were to young to keep headphones on. I think the z's were way overkill for any rears (especially for a guy that doesn't believe in rear speakers) but I won't disagree with someone that wants the best no matter where they are going.

I paid $368 for the 4.150, and $252 for the 1.600. Obviously non-auth dealers but at those prices I couldn't resist. Unopened and serial numbers intact, birth sheets present.
When I finally get everything ran and buttoned up to my liking and a little initial tuning I'll report back and tell you how they perform. FYI, 4.150 will be bridged to 300w for a set of Polk SR6000, and the 1.600 will be driving a Image Dynamics ID10.
