Fosgate 3sixty.1

has anyone heard anything about this new processor from fosgate? supposed to give you a ton of control over equalizers, crossover points, and higher level preamp outs, and all of this is controlled via bluetooth from either a palm or a laptop? its like 300 i think, and has a big brother that has more features for about 600. i just stumbled across it today and want to see if anyone has any feedback on it because i would drop the money just to be able to use my palm treo to control my system settings...

I have used both the .1 and .2 and own a .2. Great piece, it does lots more than the jl clean sweep, and the bluetooth alows you to stuff it anywhere and still adjust it.

its in my long term plan, I have the software on my pocketpc, pretty cool if you ask me, eq and crossover points are fully adjustable, not to mention different slope curves too

Yes but to be sure I'd check the rockford website anyway. Bartak I got one for my eclipse nav since I don't have time align in my headunit anymore. I miss my 8053 for that.

Nice. That 3Sixty wouldnt really be to bad of an addition to any HU with all the EQing it has, or if you need TA like in your case, etc.

Im still lovin this 8053 though. For now it has enough features to keep me happy/entertained and sound F'n fantastic Probably keep my stereo exactley like it is with the HU and no processor stuff, unless someday I can finally get a RTA and would happen to need some more tweaking in the EQ

Should work fine with the Treo 650. I was about to buy one to use with my 650 (had already bought a pro-fit phone holder to mount my phone) until I came across an Empeg that was to good a price to pass up. My whole plan from the start was to keep the HU stock which was why I was looking a good quality preamp/EQ. With the eq and cross over features makes it a nice unit. They tend to take a lot of time to get dialed in right from what I read, but once you do then they are suppose to be great.

It may take a couple of times to set it up at first, but once you have the main setting calibrated the rest is pretty simple. However the rest (eq settings and time align settings) can be a lifelong quest for perfect sound. I think I fooled with the time align every other night for a year in my ranger. Perfection is never enough

My God, that sounds like me lol. From the time I installed this HU in my old truck to the time I took it out, I played with the TA and EQ every time I got in the truck...usually played with more than that.
Im to the point in this truck where Ive about had enough and just said heck with it

Seems like for the money on the 3sixty that they could have added at least an autoEQ setup. Although I am still in the process of getting my system total in, on my Empeg it has a mic input which then I can do an AutoEQ. It will not do the time alignment but will at least get a good starting point with the EQ settings. I hope to pic up a mic and try it out in the next month or so.

Good luck with the 3sixty, at times I wish that I had gone that route instead.
