what size wires are you using? do you have the kit that was with that amp? terminals are best, sometimes they arent possible. strip wire back about 1/2" then seperate the wire into a fork.. twist each seperate side nice and snug with some pliers, insert into terminal, tighten down.http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/...s%20Manual.pdf

8 gauge wire. its a streetwires amp install kit

ive never used any kind of terminal..they are a million times neater..but i just fork the wire and slip it through the screw and tighten it down
