Sonic Elextronix?
I am looking to get the Alpine PDX-F6 4 channel amp to power my Infinity Kappa 682.9cf door speakers.
I was checking out their site, and they seem to be one of those "iffy" dealers. I checked reseller ratings, and they've got mostly good feedback, and any of the negative feedback has been replied to by them. Additionally, they state that they are not an "official" Alpine dealer.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with them, and, if so, what was your experience?
Thanks!

That's just a risk you take when saving a bunch of money. I bought my RF 300.1 amp for $164 there and saw the same amp for $299 at Best Buy. And just because they're not an Alpine authorized dealer doesn't mean they won't take it back if it is defective. The 10% fee is only if looking for a refund.

Bought some JL 8" subs from them. I wanted Boston Acoustics but they were out of stock even though it said they werent online. That was the only issue. They called me up right away and werent sure when the BA subs would be in stock. So they asked if i wanted to wait a week and see so I did. Nothing in so they called and I asked to step up to the JL's since they were more money. They did it for an extra 10 bucks a sub which was fine cause they saved me 20 bucks. Good comunication other than the mis-information on in stock on the site.

I bought my Memphis amp from Sonic. Great price and it's been working perfectly for almost a year. I will agree that their return policy is ****ty but the few dealers that have Memphis around here want three times as much for the same amp.
Hell, I work at Best Buy and I don't even buy car electronics there.

Sundevil, sure, Sonic has a big long list of things they could hold over you, if they wanted to.... read: if the customer was being a general PITA, or, if they felt the customer was abusing the system
But among all of the non-authorized dealers out there, SonicE is right at the top, as far as reputation goes.
Many companies have fine print legal stuff that they can fall back on, if they have to. The ones that dont have to charge much higher prices for their unlimited warranties.
Anyway, I bought my RF Power 1000, msrp $1499, from Sonic for $498 ! Hell, at that price, it could have failed, and I could have "paid" RF to fix it, and still been ahead ! Instead, it's worked for 2 years fantastically, and it's still going strong
Go SonicElectronix !
