well, I got $200 in my truck budget, still got a ways to go, but its definitely on the drawing board.
ok what about a differnt setup (it would be more complex but worth alot of money) where pull your door handle and the door pushes out a few inches then hydrolics, electrionics and whever needed raises the door up like window or something... kinda hard to explain. just look at this photoshop of my truck.

i think lambo doors are gay in my opinion.....especially on trucks....they look good on cars that are supposed to have them (LAMBOS) what i think looks really good tho is suiciding the rear doors of a supercrew....that looks slick

To each their own I guess. But one thing to consider. You may want to trade your truck in eventually. That will kill your trade-in value. How many people in the market for a used truck would really be interested in one with doors like that sitting on the dealership lot.

Just food for thought.

Feel free to mod at your own risk, people will have their own opinions about everything anyway.

well.............I went to the best body shop around here and they happened to have an F150 there, pretty much like mine but a scab and a diff color. they had the doors off and I described what I thought about. They simulated the motion and how they would have to open to clear etc... when I looked at it, it just wasn't as trick as I thought it would be. That and the fact that I use my door pockets all of the time. With them folded up, it would spill everything out.

I guess I was thinking too much on the theme and not the practicality.

thanks for the opinions and thoughts.
