4.6 V8 here. I purchased it used (2,000 miles) from a dealer. They were having trouble selling it. Best guess is that most standard cab/short beds are work trucks and most of the potential buyers didn't want the nicer options. I couldn't find a new one that had any options on it. I bought this with the wheels/tires and the exhaust and have since lowered it, tinted the windows, added the cover and replaced the grill. W/regard to the engine, I don't think this truck is available with the 5.4. Too bad. Intake is next. Do you have an intake on yours? If so, which one?

BTW, the flares you have don't look "aftermarket." Very clean.

Mine diden't have any ops on it only the step side ,I installed electric windows & door locks , I just installed a intake (hope you diden't mean intake manifold) Air Raid from
www.autopartswarehouse.com it used the stock intake tube ,I also installed a Flowmaster 40 with 3" pipe & 4"tip.
I did the flares becouse the wheels stuck out past the fenders.
I have been reading up here on painting my headligh refelectors black thats my next project.
Red wasen't my first choice but it really growes on you

I'd like to find out what you learn about the headlight reflectors. If they can be blacked out somehow, it would really look great, at least on a red STX.

Correct the flares are Warn ,I was suprissed how well they fit it took a lot of searching to find for flair side.
Look at AirBornRacers headlights that what I'm talking about blacked out.
My truck is in the shop today for new gears will post pics latter for you, on the rear tires they sit flush now with the flairs the fronts still stick out about a inch. Wheels have a 5" back spacing
