Finally got HIDs (Installed + Adjustment PICS)

Probably should have been studying for an exam coming up Monday, but decided to install these instead. Still need to re-aim them (tomorrow) but they are awesome! Like everyone else I can't believe I didn't switch sooner. Did a quick drive around to test them out and I didn't get flashed once. Considering I haven't re-aimed them yet I take that as a good sign. Hopefully they won't need much adjusting, but I'll see tomorrow.

Got the DDM kits. 5000K 55w H13 Hi/Lo for the heads and 5000K 35w H10 for the fogs. Fogs look a touch bluer than the heads but it's not that noticeable. Install was straightforward and very simple. Only thing I had a problem with was the hi/lo connector. They only provide one to work for both headlights, so if there is a problem there both will go out. I'd like to see them have it set up where there is one for each headlight for safety reasons. Other than that it's a very good kit. Attached the ballasts with some industrial-strength velcro and double secured them with zip-ties.

I'll get some better pics + a few output shots tomorrow.

*think of the environment. save bandwith. (pics are in album)

Thanks for the thumbs up, fellas. Got one decent pic before I head in to work. I'll try to get some tonight if it stops raining. Ah also forgot to take off the front plate. Will do that, too.

Yeah I love them! I highly recommend them. Besides the customer service issues from DDM you really can't beat the price or the lifetime warranty.

I'm about to go readjust them as we speak.

I've only had one encounter with their customer service thus far and it was fine! I have read several statements of the service being sub-par but I haven't experienced that yet. Of course, I haven't returned anything yet either...

Okay got them adjusted. Gonna run out and take a few more shots and then post them up. Took several showing how to readjust the headlights. For some reason my right headlight was pointed more to the right than I would like, but it's no biggie. Pics coming in about 20 mins.
