New hood is on!! ( Ebay hood review)

Nice!! Looks like it worked out for ya! I'll be working a good amount of overtime this summer, I think this might have to be my next project.
Now to find a shop that will do quality work. The "rough hood" and "terrible shape" comments make me wonder if it would just be easier to just get the real cervini's hood and just have a shop paint it.
Glad it worked out for you!

The hood looks fantastic (from what I can tell)
But camera phones are worthless, horrendous, atrocious, hideous, pieces of garbage, and viewing photos from such is extremely hard on ones eyes ;-)
BTW, in my area (of Nor Cal) having a hood painted that "didn't need much work" would cost you about $800. With substantial work, from a reputable shop, maybe $1200 or more.
Great addition to your truck.
Peace,
Fish

Hood painting
I recently purchased a Saleen aluminum heat extractor hood off ebay for $320.00 + $140 shipping from CA. and had it painted inside and out to a show quality finish. The shop picked it up at my house while I was on Vacation , painted and installed the hood then returned my truck to my driveway to greet my when I arived home for $100.00 ( I did work for the shop in the past). Now thats a deal

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP.
the hood literally flew off of my truck yesterday. the inserts they use to connect with the OEM hinges, latch, etc, literally stripped right out of the fiberglass and the hood flew off my truck damaging my roof and drivers side door.
the fiberglass in it also heated up and broke apart under the paint in the sun causing small bubbles in the paint.
lesson learned, don't buy it, it seemed to good to be true, and it was!
