New hood is on!! ( Ebay hood review)

My brand new cervini's ram air type 2 LOOK-A-LIKE is on.

I took a huge chance and ordered this hoos from the seller "hoods4sale" on ebay, aka Liberty Fiberglass, and it looks great!

i ended up paying $400 shipped for the hood, and $417 to have it painted.

The body shop said it was a rough hood, and was in terrible shape. They worked their magic on it and had it looking great when i picked it up. The guy doing it is also my buddy though, so he hooked me up. In the end, i saved money and it looks just as great! The painting process costed more, but i'm still sitting cheaper than a new cervinis hood + paint. i paid what a cervinis hood would cost unpainted.

Here's the finished product, sorry i only have camera phone pics

lol i got quoted 400-450 everywhere i went.

cheapest was $379, but i've had them do work for me before and it was crap.

417 really isn't a bad price at all around here.

I like the look

the scoops seem low profile which is nice, nothing to tacky, get some better pics tho!

truly, if you don't have a good body shop that will work hard as hell on this hood, don;t get it.

if you do, then do it, because you'll probably save money in the long run!

Awesome hood! Looks great.. wish i still lived near my buddy who paints cars at an auto auction, i want to get a cowl hood. Would be a lot cheaper through him, but that's 650 miles away....

Love a good deal!
