Replacement driving lites for stock fog lites
My son just bought a new Lariat and we are wondering if there are driving lights available that would be a direct replacement/fitment for the stock fog lights that are located in the bumper?
Can the fog light bulbs be replaced with driving light bulbs or do the lenses need to be changed?
Thanks,

driving lights
Sam, I will check out that link later, thanks
NOlongerjeepin, my son will be driving cross-country here in texas where most roads are still two lanes so driving lights that will illuminate fence lines for a mile or so down the road would be helpful. Lots of deer and other road hazards about.

I've melted my lenses twice trying differant blubs and even finally HID's
Need glass lenses. I have thought about trying to retro fit some piaas or hellas in the oe openings though.

Should have read all the posts first.
If this is the case upgrading the head lights to HID's will help out quite a bit.
Another option is a light bar for the front with some driving lights.

I would try some kind of light bar with driving lights mounted on them. Driving and fog lights have 2 different light patterns, with the fogs needing to mounted lower and the driving needed to be mounted higher. Just replacing the bulb will not change a fog into a driving light. The reflector is what shapes the light pattern.

Kingfish and TheJake have got it right
Your never going to put out that kinda light out of the factory fogs. Your best bet would be to install a light bar and get some KC 100w or 150w lights to mount on there. It'll give you the best bang for your buck plus reliability. HIDs are cool, but they can be problematic.
