MikeF150,
New to the forum. I have been looking to order the Westin bull bar and skid plate for my expy. I don't have the JC Whitney catalog, was that price for F-150 only or for the expy as well. Also, do you have a part number, their website has them listed for @399.00. Thanks in advanced.

MikeF150...Thanks for part #'s. I have 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition 4wd. I talked to JC Whitney's technical dept. and verified the part #'s, price, and whether or not that # was chrome or black. He said CHROME! I was then transfered so I could order. I verified with my sales lady, AGAIN, and she confirmed also that it was in CHROME! Needless to say I'm excited. I ordered immediately, total for bar and skid plate in CHROME was $313.25 with shipping and handling. I have my fingers crossed as well. Thanks for the tip, you're my HERO. If the order comes in correctly that saved me $100+ from the cheapest I have found so far. Please let me know when yours arrives, and I will likewise.
Thanks!

I have a Bull Bar

I have a Bull Bar that I got from 4 Wheel Parts. I paid about $290 without a skid plate. I'm thinking about getting a skid plate. The install took about 20 min. You need to take the tow hooks off and one other bolt. Without looking, I believe it was the one closest to the tow hooks on I believe it was the skid plate. When you go to put it on hold it up and put the nuts one the skid plate first. It helps to hold the Bull Bar in place while u put the nuts back on that hold the tow hooks in place. It helps to have someone hold it in place. Let me know what you guys think about how they look. Eric

My truck doesn't have a lift and it can look a bit low. From a distance it's not so bad. I don't have a skid plate on mine. I been thinking about it but I don't want it to look even lower. My friend told when I was coming up behind him the truck looks tough with it. Let us know what you think of yours.

Bull bar arrived!

MikeF150,
I tried to post yesterday but couldn't log on. The CHROME bar came in, not black . The skid plate was shipped seperately and should arrive today or tomorrow. Thanks again. Sorry any savings go directly into the "Expy Upgrade Foundation". Contributions are accepted and will be distributed appropriately. LOL . I'm looking for some PIAA lights for the bar and a Street Scene "Speed Grill" (chrome). Any leads on best price. Maybe I need to start a new thread. The best price so far has been for $139.00 + shipping for the grill and I'm not familiar at all with the different available lights.

Thanks again!

FFEric224 any pics?

The best photo I've found has been http://www.westinautomotive.com/page...ar%20big.html. I'm clueless on a link, any help.

Thumbs up

I like the way the Bull Bar looks with the skid plate better then without. I guess I know what I'm going to be ordering now.
