Great write-up and photos. I did all of the window switches in my 2006 SC a couple of months ago and they all still work great. Thank You for the excellent tip.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I didn't realize this was such a widespread issue. Either way, glad it's working for most of you!

Add me to the list of folks thanking you. I had picked up the phone gonna call my parts man at the dealership and put it down to check the forum for a fix. I am glad I did. Thanks a million for saving me some dough. Especially since my parts man has quit the dealership and I can't get cheap parts anymore.

Is changing the drivers side power lock actuator in the same series as the window switch?

Awesome instructions, i just did this as i got to work this morning. Took my no time at all. Just got to be careful when taking the white part out. The little black springs will fall out if your not careful. then you'll be looking around on the floor or ground for something the size of a grain of rice.

Only issue i had was i was a fool and had the windows locked out from the drivers side and i thought i did something wrong. Took me a few minutes to realize what was going on and afterwards it worked like new. Thanks for saving me 40bucks or more.
