I have a 2002 Sport and a while back, I pulled the Sport stickers off of it. One of the stickers pulled right off without much problem. The other one pulled off, but the glue seemed to stick to the truck instead of coming off with the sticker. I can still see the outline of where it was and can still feel the glue. It really isn't noticable all the time except when the truck gets real dirty and dusty.

When I used the claybar on my truck the other day, I went over that area real good. But the outline is still there and it still feels rough from the glue. The claybar worked good over the rest of the truck, except right there.

Anyone know of anything else besides the claybar that could get it off?

Since that side was in the sun when I pulled it off, would that cause it to do that? The other side was away from the sun and I had no problems with that one.

 

Try some WD-40 on it, that might get it off.

 

WD-40 will probably remove it but, after you're done, RE-WAX, ZAINO, UPP, WHATEVER YOU USE...

 

WD-40 or Goo-Gone, either will work and neither will hurt the paint.
