Arrrgh! Paint Droplets.

Well, I got the new truck on Friday. I love it. There is just one problem: on the trip from FL, the transport driver must have driven through/by some kind of painting b/c there are hundreds of minute droplets of white paint on my black truck. You have to get close to see them, but they are annoying none the less. I know they aren't rock chips b/c they're everywhere (windshield, etc) and they scratch off with a fingernail. Will clay get these out?
Thanks, everyone.

Clay is the way! It'll almost definately take off any spots like you've mentioned. Super simple to use too.

RockPick since he is talking some big pieces compared to what clay normally takes off would it not possible damage the paint if not very careful with the clay and picking up them paint droplets?

Okay. Let's try this again. This time in English 01 XLT LMAO...

The way I understood him, he has several 'minute' (mi-NUTE) droplets. Nothing 'large' per say.

I think the clay will be more than safe for the 'minute' droplets. It'd be different if the entire front end of his truck was coated in paint. Then we'd be dealing with some other type of treatment that would be considerably more harsh and much more agressive.

Have you spoken with the dealer? You should be able to get some satisfaction to the problem from them, seeing how you just got the truck on Friday.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses.

01 XLT, the droplets are about the size of a pin head. Does this fall in the clay domain?

Also, Egoblast, the spots happened during transport through an independent transport that I hired. Also, to get my truck before the weekend I had to meet him in Ft. Smith (about 45 minutes from me) b/c he was waiting for his other deliveries in my area to return from Mem. Day vacation before coming up here. Otherwise, it was wait until today to get it. I was with some friends who gave me a ride and I didn't want to make them wait anymore, so I signed off on the truck. I had to get to work through the weekend also. The droplets are very small, and I like to work on the truck anyway, so I didn't really mind. Thanks again.

Definately in the 'clay domain' in my unprofessional blue-collar opinion.
