Question Anyone heard of this??

Everyone,

Has one heard of or used Finish First by Liqui Tech? I got this product's name from the guy who stores my boat in the winter. This is a high performance polymer polish/finish which fills high and low spots in the finish, remove light surface scratches and swirl marks. This works on all type of paint surfaces including clear coats. Application is in a back and forth manner not in a circle. You let this cure to your paint for a min. of 1.5 hours and wipe off. Can let cure over night, for weeks and months with easy removal. The longer it cures, the better the wet glossy look and shine are. This guy swears by it and his Durango and Firebird look really sharp! From what I can gather, this product is designed for the people with limited time on their hands for car care. Supposed to last 6-8 months. Anyone heard or used this?? I may buy a can and post some pics.

Regards,

Dave

As of 5/30/03, about 30 people had viewed this thread thus, I would say that, of those 30, no one has heard of it...

Let us know if you go with this stuff Dave. We're always wanting to stay on the cutting edge... sounds like this stuff might be interesting.

Have a link so that we can read some about it?

For what they are worth, there are a couple of reviews here:

Thanks for the link Boss_429

Thanks for the link Boss_429!! Two reviews and both favorable. I am going to try this stuff and see how it goes. I am in need for some new wax, almost out of my Meguires! I know RP, another person going away from Meguires, but at least it is not Zaino!! I'll post some pictures when I get the stuff and it quits raining here. Thanks again for your input!

Ahh, it's all good man. I hate to see you leave the Meguiars family but, there are definately alot of great products out there.

I'm just partial I guess.

I've found something that I really like and I'm sticking with it... however; I do have some Z that I'm going to try...

When it comes down to it what ever works best for you and makes your truck look good is what counts...

Well, RP if makes you feel any better....I am still going to use the Meguires on my wife's Honda. Even though I am not crazy about the rice burner, I still want to make it look good when I have to drive it!

Sounds like we have some things in common...

My wife drives a Honda as well. I'm not that keen on it but, you can't totally dislike 35 MPG.

She has an 02' Accord SE. It's not too bad. Not too many bells and wistles but, let's face it, it's a Honda...

I do...

Just don't have time to dedicate a full freaking day to putting this stuff on... Hence, one of the largest drawbacks to this stuff.

I've got people to do and things to see....
