Opinon on water squeegees
I have seen these water squeegees for sale with that advertise "they do not scratch your finish". Has anyone used these after they wash their truck and do they live up the what they say? I have some reservations about squeegees and although they get the water off, I feel that they may leave scratches if they pick up some dirt. Anyone agree?

Cali water blade is the only one i'd trust. especially with black. you look at black paint the wrong way and you'll get swirls
Anyway, i've got a cali blade, didnt notice any scratches from it, although i only use it when its not windy out so i know no crap is gonna blow up onto the truck and get drug across the paint. Also, a good tip is wipe the blade with a cloth after EVERY pass you make. that way if there is a piece of dirt that gets on there, you won't keep dragging it across the paint and not notice until its too late
works awsome though, good way to quickly dry the truck when its sunny out

Time to go against the consensus...
I have one and hate it. Not because of scratches but because of the 'grabbing' effect that it occasionally has... what I mean is that you'll be dragging it across the surface and, unless you have a death grip on it, it'll 'grab' the paint and jump out of your hand thus scratching your paint.
I never use it.

o yeah, also, i'm suprised nobody said anything about how it doesn't go around curves very well. I had this problem at 1st also, but after using it a few times, it breaks in, and can conform around the curves a whole lot better now.
