Try using a hammer to get the spots out. And when you break your windshield, call the insurance company and get a new windshield, spot free of course.

And for the record; no, I have not done this and nor would I.

Interesting idea...

With that, how much does it cost out of pocket to have a windshield replaced? I ask in case the Z12 don't work.

I tried the vinegar again RockPick, it does remove some, but damn it don’t take much off. There are a lot of spots on the window. As I said I tried the razor as well it took some off, about like the vinegar, and the clay did nothing.

Your right it works, I didn’t have the “Bar Keepers Friend” but I did have “Cook Top” which is basically the same I believe, at least in they are both for cleaning glass-ceramic cooktops on stoves.

I went down and tried some. The “Cook Top” is like a liquid paste, kind of looks just like liquid wax. Put some on a paper towel rubbed it in, wiped it with a damp cloth and then buffed with a dry cloth, and NO MORE WATER SPOTS…

I did about Ľ the window in less then 5 minutes if that, maybe 2 minutes. Did not have to rub hard or anything, very easy and unbelievable clean and clear window, better then window cleaner.

It doesn’t feel greasy or slick like there is wax there so it shouldn’t be a problem with any smearing. Later I might take it out and spray it with water and see how the wipers clean, make sure it doesn’t smear or anything. I would imagine if it did I could just take window cleaner to it.

I don’t want to do the complete window yet because I want to see how the Z12 works. At least I know I have something to clean the water spots off very easy. I think I paid somewhere around $5 - $8 for the bottle. I have had it for a while and got it because I have a glass ceramic cooktop and have only used it once on the cooktop.

Thanks again Jaguar, and to the rest of you. If any of you have problems with water spots try what Jaguar suggested, or in my case it looks like any “glass ceramic cooktop” cleaner will work.

Well actually I listened to you as well about the Silblades, after hearing you're recommendation and RockPick I figured what did I have to lose...

I can't say enough on how EASY the glass ceramic cleaner worked on the water spots. I am betting the Z12 is most likely the same thing. It will be interesting to see. I will post what I think about it after I have tried the Z12 out, but if it is not much different I would recommend the glass ceramic cleaner first, since it is easier to get, and most likely cheaper as well.

I’ll let you know what I think of the Zaino (Z12) I know RockPick would love to hear. He may be in for a real big surprise, especially if I feel that the “glass ceramic cleaner” is just as good as the Z12 and would recommend it before the Z12.

The Z12 is $12.95 a bottle I looked around on the web and found what I have which is the “Cook Top” and they have wanted between $5.95 - $6.99 for a 10oz bottle. I don’t know how many oz come in the Z12, I will this week when I get it.

I have a 20oz bottle of the "Cook Top" don't remember what I paid for it and I believe I bought it at Sear's
