Cherry wet wax is amazing.

This has gotta be the easiest stuff to put on and get off a truck I have ever seen. I can put it on the truck in about twenty minutes. Then let it sit for a few minutes. Then it takes about 15 minutes to wipe it off the truck. Way quicker than liquid glass and the shine is just as good if not better. Plus the truck smells like cherries. It is definitely worth 40 dollars a gallon.

Invalid_access,

You mean 22.95 a gallon!

Yes the CWW is a nice wax, epecially for the price. Keep in mind that it's a cleaner wax, and it's durability is limited, as is it's ability to layer. Also, make sure you don't get it on the trim, as it's a SOB to get off.

Is there a specific thread on here comparing the Cherry Wax with McQuires (sp?)? Did some searching but couldn't find one.

Meguiars-

I've been using Meguiars for a week now and I love it I've never used Cherry Wet Wax but I've heard it's great has a really good shine for a while but it dosen't last very long compared to other brands like Meguiars.

On the other hand, Meguiars can have as much shine and more durability for a little extra work, by using a polish as well as the professional waxes.

I'm sure Rockpick will be along to help out more with Meguiars, and maybe a couple other people recommending various other waxes.

Andyhow whatever you pick, good luck!

I don't mind spending 30 minutes a month waxing my truck after washing it. I wash my truck once a week and wax it once a month. I have tried gold class and that stuff will shine for about a month, not much more than that. I have tried Zymol and I hated it. It took me 3 hours to wax my truck and the stuff was not upto my expectations. I have tried Liquid Glass and it is my second favorite. Turtle wax was another dissapointment. Out of all them Liquid glass seems to last longest.
BTW compare anything to what you want in this thread. I don't mind.

I'll chime in too about the limited durability of CWW. I don't know about you, but I wax my truck for both looks and protection. If I was looking for one or the other, I'd probably switch from Zaino to something else. I will admitt to using CWW on several occasions just before I took a vehicle in for trade in.

There, that ought to bring RP out of hiding!

Come on RockPick. I used the "Z" word. That's generally like mentioning tax dollars in front of a Democrat. I'm sure you've got some thoughts here.

01 XLT and I called a truce on the Zaino vs. Meguiars battle a few weeks back.

I'm going to have to remain independent on this one... I've never tried CWW but, I sure know my Meguiars shine kix ****. LOL!
