best car wax

All, I know this has been debated many times...but I happend across a web site that provides an unbiased review of four major brands of wax. I have used Zymol & Maguires for many years and like the results of both. But, you need to see this review and then decide yourself.

Hint: Zymol came in second and Maguires came in last !

NSX wax test

Enjoy !

How is another person's review going to decide for myself?

The best wax is different for different people. There are a number of very high quality products that can give great results.

I originally had the same complaint about the longevity of Meguiar's wax....then started using the "professional" line of products. HUGE difference.

Well, first and foremost, I have to agree with APT... everyone will have a different experience with different products. That's the way the earth spins.

I've tried Zaino and, sure, it was fine but, was it on the pedastool that everyone has placed it upon in my opinion? I'd have to answer no. The longevity is definately going to outlast any carnauba based paste or liquid however; I simply didn't obtain a 'better shine'.

I'm still with Meguiars Mirror Glaze products and have zero intentions on changing in the immediate future...

My advice... find something that gets you the results you want, the durability that you require, and the simplicity of application/removal and stick with it. If you're using a 'quality' product (not a $2.99 bottle from Wal-Mart), you're going to love your results...

Oh yeah, and SURFACE PREPARATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!!!

Yep, he gave it a fair shot and didn't see much difference then what his current shine is. He also loves to wax once a month so that would be a "con" for using Zaino...

Truth be told, I have put about 6 coats on in the last 2 to 2 1/2 months, it justs gets shineyer...

People at work are now asking is it a "show truck" I said its a "real" show truck, it looks good and you can drive it, much better then a "sh*t truck" which is a truck that just sits there on blocks... Chevy

Yep, use to race at the race track down the road from there. So you're coming to that, bringing any "extra" friends with you???
