1) What is this some kind of support group?
2) You own a late-model Ford and can find your crack, wanna be a moderator?
3) Crack? My truck didn't come with any crack. Was this some kind of dealer incentive program?
Any others?....

Take a look at this thread. I have a picture of what a door crack looks like. This was on my older 2000 F150

and how long has it been since we had a smart-aleck say
" just say no to crack!"
Of course 01, I think we can blame a lot of the poor engineering and workmanship on the Nasser era.
I will give Billy credit that he has acknowledged that without product there is no Ford. I think for Bill, he will answer to his family and Henry's legacy before he bows to Wall Street pressures (short term gains that inflict long term pain - see Nasser above)
Billy has made some painful cost cutting, but in the name of longterm health... not short term profit returns.
Thoughts?

True, but Jr. has been in charge how long now? A least a few years. It does not take years to implement an immediate change in a design. It takes brain power and “will” I know this first hand at where I work. I have seen design changes take effect immediately when needed. Yes they cost some money short run, but long term proved to increase cash flow.
If Ford truly has the “will” to make their customers happy and satisfied it takes a few months to implement immediate changes to designs to correct errors on their engineering department…
