Talking Washed the truck!

Ok, I started out with HOT water in the bucket, washed the truck as norm. Then rinsed it off with out the nozzel on. Took the leaf blower out, blow dried it, then use a cloth to get the desired shine. Then took it into the garage and gave it a Turtle Wax Color Cure job. She looks sexy as always. Now I feel great. I went with an actualy wax job (rather than Eagle One Wax as you dry) this time because its been a little while since last time.

I just finished up the wax job last night. Man it looks good. Everyone around here knows that after I've wax, the truck goes on the garage until it gets dirty. I'm probably going to get the camera out here soon while it's looking so good. I don't have any pictures since I've lifted and put my new wheels on. If I get the done I'll post.

Plain water wash

I just did a plain water wash on my screw. I just washed it two days ago and QD'd it each morning since. Then it rained today while I was in work and the sun came right out and spotted the truck all up. So I'm thinking detail spray all around but as long as I'm rubbing the whole truck why not another wash. Well the truck wasn't 'dirty' just spotted and streaked. Soo...
I filled up a bucket with lots of clean plain well water and gently washed the truck like I was using soap. Good wash mitt for the top, beater wash mitt for lower regions. Keeping the mitts well swished around to avoid scritches.
Dry and buff with a waffle-weave MF d&b the wheels with the 'wheels' MF and presto! The Screw is back to looking shiny and clean. Of course the Meguiars wax on there was a big part of making this work.
