When to remove wax?

When to remove wax?
Is there a length of time that might pass before wax should be removed from a vehicle and re-applied from age?
My truck has a pretty easy life because I have a company car that I drive most of the time. I still wash the truck pretty regularly and it still looks great. But it doesn't really get driven in rain, snow or even sit out in the sun a lot.
I put Zaino on it awhile back and I'm still very impressed with the shine, but is there a reason to strip it down again and redo it just do to age?
I tried to check out Zaino's website, but for some reason, I can't currently connect.

That's how they got me to switch chknbone..
JK...I just figured I would give Z a try and decided after all was said and done it looked as good as the Meguiars and added in some additional length to the time between waxing. Afterall, the Z has done wonders for the marriage in the less time sleeping in truck and more time sleeping with wife category.
Oh, and why you trying to jack a Z thread?? You trying to be XLT's Megiuar alter ego...

As far as stripping Zaino you really can't strip it off. You would have to wait until it wears off. Even Dawn dish washing soap will not strip it off...
As BostonCowboy stated you just layer it on top on the other coat and it bonds. I do drive my truck on a daily basis and last winter in the snow SALT and road grime it still had Zaino on it after 6 months...
You just can't beat that Zaino shine, its Zainoerrific...

I came over earlier this year...
I like the stuff guys but, it defeats the entire purpose of me waxing my truck... to get out of the house and away from the wifey for a couple of hours. It's all about strategy...
LOL!
