ready to detail

ok, my truck and i are going to go to oklahome for christmas on sunday, and i was going to detail my truck friday or saturday, and i have a clay bar (was going to do the whole truck) meguries's #9 swirl remover, #7 show car glaze, and #26 hi tech yellow wax. i was going to use these in that order. was wondering if i was supposed to do it in a different order or what. also i was looking for some tips and was wondering if i can get brake dust off my wheels on my truck, i used to use 409 to get it off and dow the stuff is adheared to the wheels.

Excellent looking truck!

You are right on with your plan of attack in my opinion. I do want to confirm that you have a good base to start with however. Is the paint very smooth to the feel? No bumps or rough spots? If so, you may want to consider clay as a very first step.

Be sure to follow the #9 directions to the T. It's not a terribly difficult product to work with but, in order for it to do the best job possible, you really need to 'work' the product in until it's nearly drying in front of you...

From there, I think you're golden....

Oh yeah, put two coats of #26 on... you won't be sorry.

The order you have is good. Just make sure to always rub in straight lines instead of circles.

It's always a pleasure to see a vehicle that has been pampered... especially when it shows!

Nice truck man!
