I read some very good things about NXT. I'll be interested in trying it out to see if it truely does have the carnaurba look with synthetic longevity.

I'll try this stuff the night that I get it too... based on my calculations, I should have it on Wed or Thurs.

How’s your weather there RockPick? Cold, or not to cold to wax?

Question, if this is a synthetic wax/polish then will you not have to strip the other wax off first before applying this new synthetic? Synthetics are all the same, are they not? Like with Zaino you have to strip off any wax or it will not bond with the paint so is this new product the same?

I'll be perfectly honest with you, I'm not totally sure how to answer your question...

I have some learning to do prior to me applying it but, I believe you do need to strip it...

With that in mind, I'm needing a #9 treatment thus, I'd say I'll probably hit the truck with that product prior to application. This will, in turn, remove everything that's on the surface of the paint prior to NXT. I need to use this new PC!!

Cold and crappy...

I went and washed my truck last night when it was right at 30 degrees (there was actually another guy there hand washing his Passat). We joked around about how stupid we must look hand washing our vehicles at 9pm with the cold weather.... neither one of us cared though, we were both fanatics.

I only decided to wash it because the dumbass meteorologists said that we were only going to recieve a 'dusting' of snow or some flurries. I double checked the NWS WSR 88D picture (doppler radar) prior to leaving the house and it was clear minus one small patch of VERY light snow... I figured, no worries...

I woke up this morning to almost 4" of snow. Luckily, the wifey didn't have to go in (school teacher) because of the weather thus, I took her car... my truck is still clean in the garage.

Ahhhh, so you have a heat wave at the moment there huh?

It has been freaking cold here, past two days the highs have been 3 degrees with windchills around -15 to -30 degrees, no hand washing here...

NICE! Gotta love that...

Hand washing would DEFINATELY be out of the question... You'd definately have 'SNOTCICLES' at the end of that wash.
