Shaky Power Mirror

My dirvers' side power mirror is loose and shaky - does anyone know how to take it off and tighten it? It positions just fine, it's just got enough wiggle in it to aggravate the crap out me.

Thanks

What helped me on my 01 was to swing the whole mirror head back or forward an inch or two and then swing it back in till it centers on the detent.

Somebody bumped my mirror and I drove around for a couple of weeks with it shaking till I figured it out.

It's worth a try and costs nothing.

I read through all of the previous threads concerning this, but could not find a fix. The housing is steady as can be, it's only the glass mirror that is shaking.

Can anyone offer help? I feel like it's prbably something loose but my experience is that these things are easy to break if you do not know how to take them apart correctly - so I'm skeered!

Thanks.
