I didn't get an e-mail either, but it looks like the registration went through fine. I just logged back in and see your name in the currently active users list.

I'm excited to have another place to obtain and share information. There really are some very sharp guys out there in the detailing world...
I've learned a wealth of information from guys such as yourself and Mike just to name a few....
Thanks again!

Thanks for the heads up. I switched my registration e-mail to another account that I seldom use and received the activation e-mail. Now I've got that other account set up to autoforward all messages to my hotmail account. I sent an e-mail to Mike Phillips and his response is below...so apparently this "problem" is by design:
Hi John,
David Bynon who created and built Meguiar's discussion
forum recommended to Meguiar's that we require real
e-mail addresses for registration. The reason for this
is because there are people in the industry, (not your
or your wife), that may try to cause problems. By requiring
a real e-mail address, versus an alias, such as an e-mail
address at yahoo.com, or hotmail.com, etc. we insure just
a tiny, little bit of extra protection from the bad guys.
Sure, if trouble makers want to cause problems they'll find
a way, but at least we know their e-mail address.
I hope you'll understand. We do not share our members e-mail
address with anyone, and do not send unsolicited e-mail to our members.
Your e-mail address is hidden from all other members.
If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to give
me a call.
Kind regards,
Mike Phillips

Hey RP or Boss_429,
Do you still have your activation e-mail from MeguiarsOnline.com? I just received another message from Mike Phillips that it turns out that they never implemented the "blocks" for hotmail and yahoo...So I want to contact hotmail member services...but I want to provide them with the exact sender address of the activation e-mail, which I unfortunately already discarded.
Thanks,
John

I don't think I do... if I do, it's at home (I'm at work)... I'll check tonight...
hotmail ate mine too I suppose. No biggie... I switched it to my home email and it worked like a champ... I suppose hotmail's spam protection is working without us asking for it... I know this isn't the first time that I haven't recieved email from them...
