Uh, how does one screw up their front bumper backing up into something?

Would anybody catch that on the Chevy forum?

You put in the reverse, turn the wheel, and catch the edge of the bumper on something (a scraper in this case) it would be nice if you tried to help instead of being a *****.

With that attitude, it'll get you no where.

Anywho, your "friend" can buy a chrome bumper for his truck, and it will fit. Just make sure its a 99-03 bumper.

Attitude? I guess you didn't read or care about chidriver's post, Im trying to be as friendly as possible here... apparently the mere mention of chevy automatically turns me into the enemy. Maybe so on the street but I'm just trying to help out a friend here so it would be nice if we could all just get along...

How will it look? Thats purely opinion...I think it would look weird with a chrome front and painted rear, IMO. I believe your just looking at a few large nuts and bolts. Stick your head under there and check it out but if I remember correctly from when I've been under there it should be fairly easy to replace...
